The wind farm „Ajos“ is located at the northern coast of the
gulf of Bothnia near the city Kemi and the border to Sweden. The turbines
will be erected in shallow waters and along the coast line.

The project has been taken by PVO Innopower OY, a Finnish Electricity
producer.
A first turbine is already in operation since 4. quarter of 2005,
further 5 turbines will be erected in the second half of 2007, yet another 5
in 2008.
